Early Years Teacher Status

e-Qualitas is delighted to be working in partnership with Best Practice Network  to provide Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT), with places available across England  to start in September 2017 on the following routes:

  • Graduate Employment Based (GEB)
  • Graduate Entry (GE)
  • Assessment Only

GEB and GE routes are fully funded and completed in 12 months, with bursaries of up to £5,000 available for the GE route, while employers receive a £7,000 incentive for each member of staff on the GEB route.

EYITT leads to Early Years Teacher Status, a specialist professional status for graduates who wish to focus their work with babies and young children so as to provide them with the best start to their learning and development. EYITT trains teachers to work with babies and young children across the birth-to-five age range and in a range of early years settings including private, voluntary, maintained and independent nurseries, as well as early years departments in schools.

Working together to provide EYITT, e-Qualitas and Best Practice Network’s combined skills, knowledge and expertise ensure a very supportive and professional training experience towards your goal of Early Years Teacher Status. Further information and a link to the Application Form can be found on Best Practice Network's website www.bestpracticenet.co.uk/eyitt

If you are an employer interested in becoming involved in supporting trainee Early Years Teachers through the employment training route or through providing placements, please email earlyyears@bestpracticenet.co.uk.  We will then contact you with further details of employer involvement in the programme.
